float wraps & castles

How do float wraps and castles belong in the same post title? I'll tell you how - they're both awesome on so many levels.

This weekend I shot a wedding and an engagement session at Squire's Castle in Willoughby, Ohio and I have a teaser of each shoot below. Each photo was actually taken in the exact same spot as the other :)

I'll have full posts up in the next week or so of both. But for now, here's one of the new products that I now offer; float wraps! I love, love these. Turn your photos into art for your walls and display them like you've never displayed 'em before! Float wraps are unique in that they appear to be "floating" on the wall with the main focus on the image and they arrive ready to hang from the box. Here's a sweet little description:

"Float Wraps are created by wrapping the photographic print or canvas print around masonite to create a thin wrap. The print or canvas is protected with a laminate and padding is added between the print and the masonite to give the front of the Float Wrap a raised, elegant look and feel. The back of the Float Wrap is complete with black paper backing and a black ¾" or 1-1/2" thick gatorboard block that allows the Float Wrap to extend out from the wall. The back of the block also contains drilled holes for hanging. Or, if you'd prefer to display your Float Wrap on an easel, you can order your wrap without the gatorboard block."

Check them out for yourself below :)

jake & christina: northeast ohio wedding photographer

Jake and Christina are the type of clients that a photographer dreams about working with. After meeting with them and shooting their engagement session, we continued to keep in touch throughout the months leading up to their wedding and there is nothing that I love more than that. I love creating a friendship with my clients and really getting to know them better which in turn makes me all the more excited to be a part of their wedding day!

Jake is hysterical. He is constantly cracking jokes and you can not take anything he says too seriously. Christina is the sweetest girl. She is so kind, easy to talk to and she loves her friends and family like no other. The combination of these two made for a gorgeous wedding day that I had the privelege of capturing. We started off the day getting ready at Quail Hollow Resort and the ceremony and reception were held at the Perry Community Center. The beach at the center was gooooorgeous and I absolutely fell in love with the location and it made me fall in love all over again with Lake Erie :)
